| Silver maple turned to a traditional "heart shape" form and then hollowed. An ebony accent collar is assembled into the hole in the top of the piece. The entire surface has been textured with a woodburning pen (pyrography) then painted over with airbrushed acrylic paints. When side lighted or lighted from the top, the dramatic reflective quality to this surface treatment is revealed. Private Collection Size:
