| A hollow form was turned to take full advantage of the outstanding figure in this piece of big leaf maple burl. The wood was oriented on the lathe to have the figure show diagonally on the surface. Furthermore, small ribs were hand carved on the surafce after turning to further emphasize the wonderful figure. Size:
